Georgian Gambling Association is a non-profit (non-commercial) legal entity that unites legal entities engaged in the gambling business and protects the legitimate business interests of member companies.

Georgian Gambling Association is founded by the founding members of the Association and operates on the ground of its charter:

• Develops action plans and programmes to meet the goals of the Association;

• Holds relationship with the governmental authorities, non-profit legal entities and international organisations;

• Studies international best practices in the field of gambling business regulation;

• Prepares proposals for legislative changes;

• Presents opinions on initiated draft laws as appropriate.

Any legal entity that shares the goals of the Association and whose main area of business is the gaming business may become a member of Georgian Gambling Association. In addition, it has obtained a permit under the Law of Georgia on Licenses and Permits, is a system organiser of electronic gambling and carries out its activities in accordance with the regulations provided by the current legislation of Georgia.

The Charter defines two membership status of the Association – Managing Member and Associate Member.

The governing body of the association is represented by board.
